Peck Electric has been involved with many projects that include laboratory and office renovations:
Patterson Residence Hall, on the campus of the University of Vermont, Burlington, VT. This project consisted of the total demolition of a three story, 36,000 square-foot residence hall. Electrical upgrades consisted of new power distribution, fire alarm, security and campus wide area computer networking. This project was estimated for a three-month duration and was completed on time. This project is an excellent example of Peck Electric’s ability to complete fast track projects on time and within budget. The General Contractor was Bread Loaf Construction of Middlebury, VT.
Harris/Millis Dinning Hall Expansion on the campus of University of Vermont, Burlington, VT 2006. This project involved demolition of an existing dinning hall and complete refit-up, including all new lighting, power, Fire Alarm system, Public address, Telecom and Security. This Project was fast track (two months) and had a fixed completion date that could not slip. The project was completed on schedule. The General Contractor was Bread Loaf Construction of Middlebury, VT.
University of Vermont Addition and Renovations to 438 College Street Burlington, VT 2006. This project consisted of a 3000 square foot addition and the conversion of 9000 gross square feet of historic residence to house the administrative offices of UVM Arts and Sciences. The work consisted of a completely new Electrical, Telecommunications and Fire Alarm system. All work was done in a way to preserve the historic nature of this over a 100 year old building. The General Contractor on this project was Wright and Morrissey Construction of Burlington VT.
University of Vermont Addition and Renovations Cook Laboratory A322/A323 Renovation 2007. This project consisted of the complete demolition of two existing labs then refit as one complete new lab area. New lighting, receptacles, VFDs, power panels, Telecom and Fire Alarm were installed to complete this project. This project had a very aggressive schedule and was completed on time. The General Contractor on this project was K.J. Construction of Essex VT.
University of Vermont Williams Hall Renovation project 2007. This project consisted of demolition of office space woodworking shop and paint shop. We installed all new lighting power panels, tool drops and receptacles. The fire alarm system was upgraded as well. The General Contractor on this project was Vermont Heat and Ventilation of Winooski VT.
University of Vermont Medplex Renovations. This project is ongoing work directly for UVM Physical Plant (Dorey Gordon) in the HSRF and Given buildings. This work involves the demolition and fit up miscellaneous small lab areas. Work includes new lighting, power, Telecom and Fire Alarm systems.
University of Vermont DeGoesbriand 3rd floor Renovation project 2007. This project consisted of the complete demolition of third floor office space and complete refit-up, including all new lighting, power, Fire Alarm system, Telecom and Security. This Project was fast track as well as having to be done without interrupting regular hospital activities. The project was completed on schedule. The General Contractor was DEW Construction Corp. of Williston VT.
University of Vermont Given Building Physician Offices 2006/2007. This project consited of the demolition and fit for four different physician office areas. Surgical/Oncology, Dermatology, Hematology and Pulmonary. All required new lighting, power, Telecom and Security and Fire Alarm systems. This job required us to work in four phases in an occupied building space and was completed successfully and on time. The Construction Manager was Stewart Construction of Essex VT.
University of Vermont 2004-2005 Given Building 4th floor Hall B Lab renovation Project. This project consisted of demolition and installation of new lighting, power, Telecom and Fire Alarm systems.
